Ezviz’s DB1C Wi-Fi video doorbell is now available at Walmart. The internet of things (IoT) device features artificial intelligence algorithm that can detect movement outside as well as night vision and two-way talking via an app on a user’s smartphone.

The video doorbell includes video in 1080p with a 170° vertical field of view allowing the smart home device to capture users that come to the door from head to toe. It can also record video in the case of emergencies or for safety reasons.

The AI algorithms can be tailored so that it is not triggered by animals or cars. The doorbell can be controlled through voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant or other smart speakers. Using voice, users could turn off motion detection when arriving home or displaying the front door video feed in another part of the house.

Additionally, the DB1C supports dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity for both 2.4 or 5 GHz connections with H.265 video compression technology using half the bandwidth and half of the storage space of previous compressions standards, Ezviz said.
