One monitor with a 49-inch display designed for business professionals, and another with a 38-inch display designed for gamers will be among the line of “Ultra” monitors to be unveiled at CES 2019 by LG Electronics.

With its cinematic scale intended to replace the need for multi-screen setups, the 49-inch UltraWide (model 49WL95) is made with professionals in finance, IT, digital design and architecture in mind. Additional features include:
- 5120 x 1440 dual Quad High Definition (QHD) resolution to provide double the pixel count of two 27-inch QHD screens combined
- 108 pixels per inch pixel density for increased document readability
- accurate color reproduction to cover 99 percent of the sRGB color space
- support for High Dynamic Range (HDR) 10 and 4K resolution for video and images
- curved screen with 32:9 aspect ratio to heighten user’s sense of immersion
- Picture by Picture (PBP) mode for side-by-side viewing of content from multiple applications or external sources

On the gaming side, the 38-inch Nano IPS UltraGear Gaming Monitor (model 38GL950G) offers the following features:

- 144Hz refresh rate and 2m/s response time to enable fast and fluid gaming
- 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut
- support for NVIDIA G-SYNC to reduce “screen tearing”
