We have seen a lot of interesting (and weird) flying vehicles in the last few months. From the helicopter drone motorbike to the DIY flying hoverbike to hot dog delivering drones.
But a flying vehicle in a bathtub? This is something new.
This, of course, begs the question, "Why?" Why would anyone do this? The only answer is why not. If they can do it and not kill themselves, then go for it. Of course, it takes some serious guts to get into a flying bathtub and travel the German countryside.
In the video, the user decides instead of driving to a bakery, he will take his homemade flying vehicle that happens to be made out of a bathtub. The flight goes pretty well and he arrives at the bakery in time to order a sandwich (to go, naturally) and then gets in the tub for the journey home.
It is the product of a Germany-based Youtube channel known as The Real Life Guys. This group builds cool inventions and drones using everyday items in the home.
