Cicoil has introduced high flexible flat cables designed to work in areas where space is a premium but require high strength, weather resistant products.
The flat cables feature a thin profile while being immune to shock, vibration, harsh environments and extreme temperatures. The data and transmission cables from Cicoil include Cat 5e, Cat 6, dual shielded camera link, controlled impedance, USB 2.0 and 3.0, flexible coax and firewire cables.
According to Cicoil, the cables are disgned to provide consistent electrical characterstics, weight and space savings that meet the continuous motion and performance needs of markets such as space, medical automation, motion control, military/aerospace and any other data or video transmission applications.

The standard off-the-shelf cables are available now and come complete with connectors offered in 3 foot, 6 foot and 12 foot lengths. Cicoil said it also offers custom designs for cables.
