Catch This 'Cutii' at CES 2018

07 December 2017

Here’s a cutie that will be making an appearance at CES 2018: ‘Cutii’ is the name of a subscription-based interaction platform for seniors that works through the use of a voice-controlled robot companion.

Developed in France by CareClever SAS, the system is designed for maintaining connections with family, caretakers and doctors. Seniors can use it to virtually take part in activities such as attending yoga classes or visiting museums — activities that, as Cutii’s developer describes, help to preserve joie de vivre.

The Cutii bot employs facial recognition and a digital touchscreen that adjusts in height to user needs. It also includes a remote control for family caregivers, and can detect and sound an alarm if the user falls.

Cutii was an award winner in CES 2017’s “Tech for a Better World” category, and returns this year with an all-new look and feel.

You can catch Cutii at the Eureka Park Marketplace in Hall G, Booth #50415, throughout the length of the tradeshow, which runs Jan. 9-12, 2018, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
