The LNA module can be combined with Qorvo’s QPA2705 integrated 5 watt gallium nitride-based driver and power amplifier module to provide a complete solution for wireless infrastructure manufacturers.

The complete solution enables operators to implement highly efficient, small form-factor massive MIMO transceivers for next-generation base stations. They handle multiple streams of data, bring higher gain and power and allow for greater data capacity. The devices will support 5G networks that are predicted to be operational by 2020 with an approximate 700 millimeter 5G connections by 2025.

Qorvo is uniquely positioned to accelerate the transition to 5G, and is currently shipping production volumes of the QPB9318 and QPA2705 to large base station OEMs.
