Skyworks has unveiled the SKY67181-396LF as a high gain, low noise amplifier (LNA) designed to meet the challenging requirements of cellular LTE and 5G new radio infrastructure applications.

Source: Skyworksan ultra-compact 2 mm x 2 mm plastic surface mount package to reduce PCB board space, SKY67181-396LF is pin-to-pin compatible with the previously released SKY67183-396LF and SKY67189-396LF. These LNAs are ideal for 2G/3G/4G/5G time division duplex and frequency division duplex infrastructure applications, including small cell, massive multiple-input, multiple-output and macro base stations.
The devices offer a very low noise figure and high gain, which may eliminate a gain stage from the design. Additional features include exceptional linearity and superior gain flatness, and a wide frequency of operation supporting 2.3 GHz to 5 GHz signals.
