Whether the public wants it or not (and there is some debate whether most do), artificial intelligence (AI) is coming in all our electronic devices, appliances and vehicles.
CES 2026 will be the pinnacle of AI deployment as the show will be wall-to-wall AI development, tools, software and processors all implemented in various wearables, TVs, smart home devices, smart appliances, automotive solutions and literally everything else.
I don’t use the term literally haphazardly either as nearly every announcement that has been made has something to do with AI – whether it be agentic, generative, computer vision, machine learning and more.
CES 2026 will be anchored around AI across all consumer tech with appliance giants Samsung and LG positioning a connective thread for product lines in their AI-powered home appliances. Other companies are creating living ecosystems that adapt to user habits and lifestyles.
Beyond AI appliances, robotics, edge intelligence and spatial computing will be the hottest themes at CES 2026 (which will all include AI of some sort). Expect to see more humanoid robots and interactive robots as well as the latest in drone and audio tech.
Finally, as always, the smart home will be a major influence at the show with new devices coming to make home automation even easier.
Our aim is to offer readers highlights of influential technologies -- right from the convention center floor. I will be again at CES bringing coverage and photos through social media, articles and features.
