Jackery, the maker of backup generators, will launch what it calls the world’s first autonomous solar robot at CES 2026, taking place this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Called the Solar Mars Bot, the autonomous solar robot is an intelligent machine with artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced computer vision to follow its users and operate virtually nonstop by repositioning itself based on light conditions. The robot offers 300 W auto-retractable solar panels that can track sunlight, recharge itself and deliver power to other devices.
This will support extended outages, home backup systems and provide energy far beyond the reach of traditional outlets, Jackery said.
Jackery said that the robot is designed for consumers that spend more time at home and are relying on internet of things (IoT) devices for many users in their home including entertainment or yard work or in case of a natural disaster or power outage.

Additionally, Jackery will introduce at CES 2026 its Solar Gazebo that provides not just a centerpiece for a back yard but provides a solar generator that is designed for those using generators in the home or are completely off grid.
The gazebo is equipped with industrial-grade solar panels that deliver 2,000 watts of capacity and generate up to 10 kilowatt-hours per day.
Jackery said the gazebo could be paired with another outdoor space or entertainment like a pull-down projector screen or AC unit to provide comfort for families while using their outdoor areas. The gazebo could also be repurposed to use as a sheltered storage space for hobbies or for charging a golf cart or protect gear from the sun.
CES 2026 takes place this week in Las Vegas.
