Video: LG’s transparent, wireless 4K TV stuns at CES 2025

11 January 2025

One of the most visually appealing showcases at CES 2025 was the in-booth Signature OLED T display in the center of the LG booth.

Billed as the first transparent 4K smart TV with true wireless video and audio transfer, the showcase is a series of 77-inch OLED T displays that are connected and are able to run programs together to form one ginormous display.

The technology includes Nvidia G-Sync and AMD’s FreeSync that allows for no tearing or stuttering even at 4K 144 Hz. LG said the true wireless transparent display allows for the same viewing experience wirelessly and without degradation.

Why is transparency important? LG said it allows for:

  • Spatial design for a refined aesthetic
  • Expanded design possibilities
  • OLED dynamic tone mapping
  • AI capabilities
  • Dolby Vision
  • 3,840 x 2,160 resolution
  • Built-in Amazon Alexa
  • Apple Airplay 2 and Google Cast compatibility
