LD Display has introduced an enormous flexible and transparent organic light emitting diode (OLED) display that is the size of a person and boasts ultra-HD resolution.
LG claims this is the first 77-inch flexible and transparent OLED display that contains a 40 percent transparency and can be rolled up to a radius of 80 mm without affecting the function of the display.
The 77-inch flexible and transparent OLED display continues LG’s roll out of new flexible OLEDs having previously released an 18-inch and 55-inch in the past few years. LG says it is committed to enabling large-sized flexible and transparent displays in collaboration with the Korean government—which sees OLEDs as the future of display technology.
