Neighboring the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center, urban electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure vendor Revel is set to open what it claims is the largest EV charging station in downtown Los Angeles.
The 19,000 sq ft EV charging station will include 42 fast charging stalls and are slated to open in 2026.
Revel operates what it claims is the largest network for fast charging with 54 fast chargers open to the public across three sites in Brooklyn and Queens, New York. In mid-2025, Revel will build a 60-stall station at Maspeth, Queens, and a 48-stall station near LaGuardia Airport in New York.
The company also has seven sites in development in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
The charging stations are open to the public 24/7 and can charge both Tesla Motors vehicle sand non-Tesla EVs in minutes. The vendor is using an app that handles the access, parking and payment processing of the stations.
“Revel is building a portfolio of the largest fast charging stations in America’s biggest cities. We’re now officially expanding that footprint to LA,” said Frank Reig, co-founder and CEO of Revel. “In the next two years, we’ll have 1,000 fast chargers open across New York City, the Bay Area and Los Angeles. This infrastructure will close the urban charging gap and allow everyone from rideshares and last mile delivery fleets, to everyday drivers, electrify.”
