Nvidia has released a list of autonomous vehicle vendors building robotaxi intelligence as well as those companies bringing robotaxis into production using its Nvidia Drive technologies.
Nvidia Drive technology includes a three-computer solution that spans AI training, simulation and in-vehicle computing that is being adopted across different aspects of the robotaxi ecosystem.
The AI giant is touting the list of autonomous vendors as a step toward physical AI, or moving the technology from the cloud to actual devices or, in this case, vehicles.
The company is accelerating the development of robotaxis with vendors to cash in on the projected $415 billion market opportunity by 2035, with the U.S. portion alone being an estimated $48 billion, according to a recent report from Goldman Sachs Research.
The market research firm said autonomous vehicles are moving from experimental concept to commercial reality as deployments are heating up in the U.S., China and parts of Europe and the Middle East.
The robotaxi ecosystem spans those vendors developing autonomous systems, the automakers training AI models, those deploying ride-share services and those deploying actual vehicles at scale.

Scaling robotaxi services
According to Nvidia, there are five companies scaling robotaxi ride-hailing services globally, including Uber, May Mobility, Bolt, Lyft and WeRide.
Uber is using the Nvidia Drive Hyperion to deploy 28 cities by 2028 with robotaxis. Uber and Nvidia are working with international vendors on this endeavor, including Autobrains, Avride, Lucid, May Mobility, Mercedes-Benz, Momenta, Nissan, Nuro, Pony.ai, Stellantis, Waabi, Wayve, WeRide and Zoox.
May Mobility, Bolt and WeRide are also using Nvidia technologies through Europe and Asia.
Lyft is deploying autonomous fleets through an agreement with May Mobility on Lyft’s network in Atlanta, Georgia.
Robotaxi intelligence
These are the vendors Nvidia said are using its technology to accelerate computing, simulation and in-vehicle platforms for automakers to deploy.
This includes Wayve, Nissan and Uber, which are working on a prototype vehicle that combines Nissan’s vehicle engineering, Wayve’s embodied AI and Nvidia Drive Hyperion platform.
Autobrains is developing robotaxi programs with Uber in Germany and VinFast in Southeast Asia. Zoox is also developing in-vehicle computing and cloud-based training and simulation services for automakers.

Robotaxi production
Finally, a list of automakers integrating Nvidia technology into autonomous and robotaxi-ready vehicle programs includes:
- Mercedes-Benz is collaborating with Uber to develop robotaxi ecosystems for its S-class vehicles. This will be Level 4 autonomous software and using Nvidia Alpamayo open AI models, simulation tools and datasets.
- Automaker Stellantis is working with Uber and Wayve on developing and deploying Level 4 autonomous technology using Nvidia Drive and AI computing technologies.
- Tesla is training autonomous driving neural networks on Nvidia supercomputers.
- Lucid, Nuro and Uber are developing global robotaxi services.
- Hyundai Motor and Kia are expanding and Nvidia is developing for data-driven robotaxi systems. The companies are also expanding collaboration with Hyundai’s joint venture Motional.
- Geely and its brand Zeekr are also adopting the Nvidia technology to develop and commercialize robotaxis in China.
