A robotic and artificial intelligence (AI) startup is providing retail logistics and workflows for Collective Cannabis, a cannabis dispensary.

Wings will provide its EXO delivery system that is designed to automate retail logistics. The system will be installed and operational in the second quarter of the year at its branch in Littleton, Massachusetts.

The system is designed to automate the flow of products from assembly to multiple delivery zones while taking no floor space from the vault, budtenders or customers. The system allows users to place online or to-go orders in the day and pick them at a time when they want. The system can also be tailored to store and deliver up to 90 orders whenever needed, even during peak hours.

“The EXO systems, and several patent-pending technologies, will help them reduce risk by increasing the security of high-value products while eliminating friction between their backroom logistics, budtenders, and customers,” said Haitham Al-Beik, CEO of Wings. “As a result, assemblers remain focused as budtenders spend more time with their customers, driving additional sales and offering an elevated experience for staff and customers alike.”
