A wearable neuromodulation device has developed to help consumers suffering from pain, anxiety or stress achieve a meditative state.

FluxWear’s Shift wearable uses magnetic stimulation resulting in functional connectivity improvements within targeted brain networks to put a user in a relaxed state of mind. The wearable can be placed on a hat or cadet-style cap.

Once worn, the user can attain the health benefits of meditation including a reduction of pain, decreased stress, deeper sleep and improved focus.

The company developed the wearable based on the founder’s sister who struggled with an autoimmune disease, causing her severe pain. After creating a prototype in 2020, the family member was able to use the wearable to reduce pain and enter a meditative state.

FluxWear will demonstrate the technology at the upcoming CES 2022 taking place in Las Vegas on January 5 through 8, 2022.
