NI and Soliton collaborate on chip design and validation software

03 September 2020

National Instruments and Soliton Technologies have formed a strategic agreement to accelerate new software offerings for semiconductor design and validation.

The companies plan to deliver new productivity tools and frameworks to help engineers design and get products to market faster also to unlock test data across the semiconductor workflow. NI will bring its high-throughput and high-fidelity measurements with Soliton’s lab standardization.

The goal is to improve productivity of validation labs to increase the value of software to users. The jointly developed system will deliver tailored software-connected systems for customers’ semiconductor validation and characterization needs.

The out-of-the-box solutions and higher-level starting point to transform labs with data insights that accelerate the IC design cycle. The combined technology will create standardization frameworks will enhance business results by improving design cycles through data quality, automation and reuse.
