At Electronica 2026, Rohde & Schwarz expanded its instrumentation portfolio with a five-channel power supply with up to 180 watts per channel and a maximum total output power of 560 W.
Rohde & Schwarz said each channel of the HMP5050 can be configured for up to 15 A and 35 V individually.
Additionally, the channels can be connected in series for higher voltage, and for higher currents the channels can be connected in parallel. For applications requiring up to 64 channels, several instruments can be connected and controlled centrally, the company said.
The instrument is targeted at automated test systems in production and at applications that require a multichannel power supply nearby.
The HMP5050 will launch in the spring of 2027.
Electronica 2026 takes place Nov. 10 to 13, 2026 in Munich, Germany.
