New Yorker Electronics has teamed with Lite-On Semiconductor Corp. (LSC) in a new franchise distribution agreement to supply its discrete power management devices around the world.
Established in 1990, LSC manufactures green power related semiconductor components that are mainly applied in communications, information, and power supplies within consumer electronics products.
Focusing on discrete components for more than 25 years, LSC owned over 25% of the worldwide market share of bridge rectifiers in 2018.
“It is a great addition for New Yorker Electronics to have Lite-On Semiconductor on our growing line card,” said Barry Slivka, president of New Yorker Electronics. “Along with a vast inventory, they bring a lot to the table in terms of better leads times, cost effectiveness and flexibility.”
“We are excited to join forces with a reputable semiconductor components distributor such as New Yorker Electronics. This will help reinforce our competitiveness and expand their market shares in North America and elsewhere,” said Jeremy Chiang, technical sales manager for Lite-On Semiconductor.
As a franchise distributor, New Yorker Electronics will supply the entire line of LSC bridge rectifiers, recovery rectifiers, Schottky rectifiers, transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes, electrostatic discharge (ESD) diodes, thyristor surge protection devices (TSPDs), MOSFETs, Zener diodes, three-phase bridge rectifiers, silicon carbide (SiC) Schottky diodes, contact image sensors (CIS), power management ICS, optoelectronics and small signal devices.
