Klistem is a new portable sterilizer that uses UV-C light to eradicate 99.99% of bacteria on reusable bottles or other household items.
Klistem combats bacteria problems in reuseable bottles by using the 253.7 nm wavelength, the most effective in debilitating bacterial DNA to prohibit reproduction. In top-to-bottom designs of current sanitation products on the market, UV-C rays are not fully distributed and are blocked by shadows of reuseable bottles. Klistem’s design puts the bottle upside-down, allowing gravity to pull the remaining water droplets outside the bottle. With the light and air source being at the bottom, UV-C rays and air flow reaches all the crevices of the bottle. Klistem’s small and compact design with USB charging allows users to stay hygienic anywhere, anytime.
To use Klistem, remove the lid and gently push down the bottle. After just two minutes, the bottle will be sanitized and dried. The colored LED indicator at the bottom reflects the progress of sanitation as well. If the bottle is knocked out of place, the safety mechanism automatically shuts Klistem off.
Klistem’s primary features include:
- Perfect sterilization and deodorization: Stench eliminated with 99.99% removal of bacteria in 90 seconds
- Drying: Reaches every crevice of the bottle and promotes proper sterilization
- Easy operation: Simply remove the lid and push the bottle down
- Automatic power control: Safely shuts down after one hour of airflow
- USB charging: With a five-pin cable, connect to your computer, or any USB port
- LED indicator: Indicates the progress of the sanitation
Klistem can now be pre-ordered on Kickstarter.
