Govee has introduced its Govee Lightwall, a portable illumination set that can be used for family get togethers, business events or retail entertainment.

The Govee Lighwall is portable allowing user to take and deploy a canvas of LED lights in a few minutes, the company said. The Lightwall includes 1,536 RGBIC LEDs in a 32x48 pixel grid, or a pixel pitch of just 1.96 inches. The Lightwall is powered by a 35 fps cinema-grade frame rate for complex animations and smooth motion, Govee said.

It also includes a detachable aluminum frame that can be assembled or taken down in about 10 minutes without tools, Govee said. The Lightwall is also IP65/IP58 rated for water and dust resistance so it could be used in the rain.

"Lighting should go wherever the moment takes you,” said Eric Wu, CEO of Govee. “With Lightwall, users can enjoy a canvas of light they can set up anywhere in minutes — making every occasion more vivid, more personal, and more colorful.”

Lighting details

The Govee portable lighting kit include more than 200 preset scenes designed for a range of entertainment displays like outdoor parties, birthdays, holidays and more.

The included AI Lighting Bot 2.0 introduces text-to-GIF technology so a user could describe an idea to have the Lightwall recreate it. A 30-layer canvas stacking with Govee Uni-IC control is also available for users to paint with 16 million colors to turn the Lightwall into a light art studio.

Additionally, the set comes with 10 built-in music modes that synchronize lighting patterns to any beat in real time. Users can also coordinate lighting atmosphere across multiple Govee devices with the Govee DreamView and SceneStage.
