If you ever wanted a smart device to not just monitor your health but to give life advice and tell you what to eat, Omni Health has just the wearable.

Called the EnerQi, the smart ring generates AI-powered daily plans that help the user with food choices, exercise and how best to rest. The company calls it a personalized health coach that attaches to your finger.

Omni Health also claims the EnerQi is the first consumer smart ring that includes tracking for:

  • Sleep
  • Exercise
  • Stress
  • Nutrition

Additionally, it gives real-time updates based on the user’s behavior. Which may or may not be a good thing depending on a late-night craving.

How it works

Omni Health said existing smart rings only provide a readiness score, whereas the EnerQi provides a “multi-dimensional biomarker” that gives updates throughout the day. This includes photo-based nutrition tracking where users can snap a photo of a meal and receive macronutrient breakdowns.

The company said the smart ring offers health planning rather than just basic data with AI-generated plans for food, movement and rest that are personalized to body signals. Also, it can generate actionable plans with psychological theories like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

So, your ring can ask you “How energized are you right now?” or “How did you sleep last night?” Whether it can then give advice as to how to sleep better or get more energized is something that remains a mystery or if the advice would be any good to each user.

The EnerQi smart ring is now on the market for $199.
