French tech startup Circular will unveil its latest smart health ring wearable at the upcoming CES 2022 trade show.
The smart ring tracks vital metrics of the wearer both during the day and night. It focuses on how the user responds to activities, chores and other life events and then provides recommendations based on this data rather than providing just pure metrics.
The wearable is connected to a mobile app that analyzes vital signals — cardiac, oxygen saturation, breathing rate, temperature and movement — to provide personalized sleep, activity and health advice.
"A lot of wearables are not suitable to users’ real needs, not to mention the lack of personalization,” said Amaury Kosman, CEO of Circular. “Also, the users are provided with raw data without knowing how to use it. As users ourselves, we aimed to design a personal and easy-to-use product capable of making smart recommendations for a healthier daily life.”
The smart ring weighs just 4 grams and is worn on any finger in a form factor that resembles a fashionable ring rather than a typical wearable.
CES 2022 takes place in Las Vegas on January 5-8.
