The Meta Quest 3S is one of the main leaders in the virtual reality space. It is a so-called standalone VR and mixed reality headset, meaning it does not require a PC or console to operate. Instead, you use your smartphone as the main application to run content.
While VR and other mixed reality content has taken a while to get off the ground, there is finally enough content that makes the investment worthwhile. That is, potentially for some consumers. Others may wait for further development or content to emerge before jumping into the mixed reality craze.
There are many mobile games that can connect to the Quest 3S much like other VR headsets. It can also be connected to a PC via cable or wirelessly via Wi-Fi allowing consumers to use SteamVR or Meta PC VR games.
The following is a partial deep dive into the Meta Quest 3S conducted by TechInsights.
