Flex Logix joins IFS Accelerator IP Alliance

14 February 2024

Embedded field programmable gate array (eFPGA) and reconfigurable digital signal processor (DSP) intellectual property (IP) vendor Flex Logix has joined the Intel Foundry Services (IFS) Accelerator IP Alliance.

The IP company joins Cadence and Synopsys in the program that signed up two years ago followed by Agile Analog last year.

Through the Alliance, Flex Logix will gain access to Intel’s leading edge process design kits, like Intel 18A, for embedded FPGA and reconfigurable DSP/AI solutions for customers.

Intel said the IFS IP Alliance IP is part of Intel’s IDM 2.0 strategy to create a design ecosystem for customers on leading-edge silicon performance.

“Our IFS Accelerator IP Alliance ensures that our customers have access to industry-leading technologies such as the portfolio of IPs and software offered by Flex Logix that enable reconfigurable chips that can adapt to changing standards, algorithms and security threats; be customized for a customer and market segment’s needs; and deliver top DSP/AI performance in minimum silicon area,” said Suk Lee, VP of design ecosystem technology at IFS.
