Each year, power electronics vendors come together at the Applied Power Electronic Conference (APEC), showcasing their latest wares and technology for a range of applications — electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy to power supplies and motor drives to inverters and converters.
APEC 2024 takes place in Long Beach, California, on Feb. 25-29 featuring seminars, white papers, workshops, keynotes and a student job fair from vendors across the power electronics spectrum like Infineon Technologies, IBM, Purdue University, Tesla Motors, University of Maryland, York University, Texas Instruments and many more.
Expect updates and news on the latest power electronic components; DC-DC converter models; new innovations for EVs and the rapid shift to renewables; growing use of robots and automated machines in the industrial sector; the shift toward integrated power modules; and the growth in the use of wide bandgap semiconductors in all power electronics.
