Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest foldable smartphone featuring a 7.6 inch QXGA active-matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display.
Called the Galaxy Z Fold3, the cover screen is no slouch either with a 6.2 inch HD+ dynamic AMOLED 2x display. Folded the phone measures at 67.1 x 158.2 x 16.0 mm but unfolded it becomes a 128.1 x 158.2 x 6.4 mm display.
The smartphone is powered by a 5 nm 64 bit octa-core processor with 256 GB/512 GB internal storage and a 4,400 mAh battery.
The Fold3 includes a triple rear camera with an ultra-wide, wide-angle and telephoto camera. Other cameras include a cover camera and an under-display camera when unfolded.
In terms of connectivity, the Fold3 supports LTE and enhanced 4x4 MIMO as well as 5G non-standalone, standalone, sub-6 GHz and millimeter wave technologies.
This will also be the first foldable smartphone that will support Samsung’s S Pen, the company’s drawing accessory. The phone is also equipped with IPX81 water resistance.
