CES 2021 is going to be all virtual because of continued social distancing measures and lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because of this, remotely interacting with the latest commercial gadgets, displays and technologies will be the in-thing come January during the world’s largest trade show.
Ahead of CES 2021, LG has unveiled its DigiTour, a 3D showroom and display platform that will allow visitors and customers to remotely interact with the latest display technologies from LG. This includes a massive 3D display wall that encompasses an entire room, new innovations in the corporate boardroom, huge displays for control rooms such as airports or stock markets and rooms built for the future of education.
"The cancellation of in-person events this year challenged us to find new innovative ways to connect with our customers. We used this opportunity to reimagine the future and build an interactive virtual event platform with a high-level of photo-realism that immerses users in the environment," said Damaris Toma, experiential marketing lead at LG Business Solutions USA. "With the LG DigiTour, users can travel through virtual showrooms and discover the latest display technologies for businesses of all sizes, types and budgets."

LG used the Unreal Engine platform to create the DigiTour to allow visitors to virtually walk through commercial spaces and experiences. Virtual guests can move through different rooms and interact with different displays pulling up features, specs and more. Additionally, the platform hosts live chats, highlights products of interest and answers real-time questions.
The platform can be accessed on desktops, mobile devices and more with self-directed exploration, 360° spaces and interactivity.
CES will be all-digital from Jan. 11 through Jan. 14. Registration is now open.
