New Philips Hue LED light fixtures for the smart home

Signify has introduced several additions to its light emitting diode (LED) portfolio including smart lighting for the smart home, bulbs for family indoor ceiling fixtures, updated Philips Hue lightstrip, an updated Philips Hue Bloom and additions to the Bluetooth-capable Philips Hue White ambiance indoor range of fixtures.

The new Philips Hue white A21 bulb allows for users to illuminate an entire room with an output of 1,600 lumen, which could be good for a kitchen or a dining room or even a garage.

The Philips Hue Centris is a white and color ambiance LED spot-ceiling set of lights that is adjustable and that focuses accent light with 350° rotation.

The Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus has been updated to allow users to reuse cut-off pieces or attach one lightstrip to another with the included connector. The Hue Lightstrip Plus also features Bluetooth capability, which makes it easier to install, Signify said.

The Philips Hue Bloom table lamp has received an upgrade with a range of color temperatures that can be tuned from warm white to cool daylight and it is Bluetooth-enabled.
