Microsoft has been using its Surface tablets to compete against the Apple iPad with some success as an alternative to the pricey tablets.

The Microsoft Surface Pro X represents one of the latest from the company powered by a Qualcomm custom processor and a large 12.9 in LCD. The tablet also includes a 10 megapixel main camera and a 5 megapixel secondary camera.

This teardown focuses on the inner workings of the Microsoft Surface Pro X including an examination of the primary PCB, the touchscreen module and display module.
