Signify has updated the software for the Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box to support voice control, infrared remote control and HDR10+/Dolby Vision content.

The light emitting diode (LED) lighting for the home can be synchronized with surround lighting effects when watching Dolby Vision or HDR10+ content with compatible TVs.

The integration of Dolby Vision allows users to access voice control to ask Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri to turn on the Philips Hue HDMI Sync Box, start or stop light sync, switch from audio to gaming or video mode and even switch HDMI channels with voice command.

The software update can also respond to standard infrared TV remote control or Harmony universal remote.
