Allweiler introduces new series of progressing cavity pumps

25 February 2020

Source: AllweilerSource: AllweilerGerman pump manufacturer Allweiler has launched its next-generation series of AEB-DE progressing cavity pumps.

Available in four sizes, the pumps are capable of bi-directional flow and share a single installation footprint.

The series borrows features from two Allweiler dosing pump ranges and includes optimized rotor and stator geometries for correctly dosing both particulate-filled and high-viscosity fluids within one series.

The modular design of the Allweiler AEB-DE dosing pump series saves space and offers standardization regardless of fluid characteristics or required flow rate. Additionally, skid builders can be used to fit the installation footprint for a particular pump based on the provided operating data. This ensures future iterations in terms of mandated flow rates with simple changeouts of conveying elements.

The next-generation series also includes a new suction casing design with three extra closed drillings for performing different functions. For instance, users can fill or drain the pump or install extra auxiliaries. The new design also enables permanent flushing and cooling of the seal, which is located in the flow of liquid. As such, the pump can be installed vertically without risking seal failure.

These pumps have application in liquid metering and pumping of viscous or shear-sensitive cheap assignment help materials. The cavities taper down toward ends and overlap. As one cavity diminishes another expansion, the net stream sum has minimal variation as the total displacement is equal.
