LG Electronics will unveil a new set of wearable wireless audio headphones including a model that will have a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The LG Tone Platinum SE will be the first headphones that offer Google Assistant and real-time translation at the press of a button with Google Translate. The feature allows users to not have to say “Ok Google” to access the Android AI, making communication faster and more natural.
The wireless headset is a hybrid unit consisting of a balanced armature and a dynamic driver. The armature unit generates clear sound while the dynamic drivers deliver robust bass.
The other new device is the LG Tone Ultra SE with an external mono speaker, which allows users to make calls and listen to music without blocking out ambient sounds.
Both wireless headphones feature dual microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) microphone for call clarity and support through LG’s app.
LG will debut both headsets at the IFA trade show taking place next week in Berlin, Germany.
