Chandler Engineering Offers Model 6500-M Mini Flow Loop System for Friction Pressure Testing

07 May 2018

Chandler Engineering has expanded its Model 6500 Friction Flow Loop line with the addition of the Model Source: Chandler Engineering Source: Chandler Engineering 6500-M Mini Loop™, a patent-pending benchtop unit designed to measure the friction pressure created by different slick water fracturing fluids. The unit determines the effects of friction reducers on fracturing fluids over a wide range of pressures, flow rate conditions and pipe diameters.

The Model 6500-M Mini Loop circulates fluid through a single test section and uses custom software to record and analyze the test data. Chandler Engineering’s proprietary software allows for total operator control over flow rate, test time and temperature for each individual test. The software is designed to be easy to use and powerful enough to collect and calculate all required data during the test cycle. The low volume, compact design and custom software make this instrument ideal for Quality Control Testing.

Chandler Engineering is a leader in oil well cementing, viscosity, reservoir analysis and high-pressure high-temperature instruments. It focuses on serving the upstream oil and gas markets in exploration and production with products for oil well cementing, viscosity measurement, reservoir analysis and other applications such as pipeline transmission.
