The BlueMod+S42M device is designed for those looking to deliver BLE with endpoint security, motion and environmental sensing. Telit says the combo device reduces developments costs, bill of materials and time to market.

Telit says the module is good for use in large scale projects where embedded sensors are needed for fragile asset tracking and time- or temperature-sensitive applications such as cold chain monitoring in pharmaceuticals and agriculture.

The BlueMod+S42M is a self-contained system-on-chip (SoC) with no external support required and contains an on-board microcontroller, integrated chip antenna, passive components and the microelectromechanical systems (MEMS).
