Samsung Launches Portable Multi-Terabyte SSD

Following up on its announcement at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung Electronics America Inc. has launched its portable, palm-sized, external solid state drive offering multi-terabyte (TB) storage capacity. Dubbed the T3, the portable SSD is offered in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacities with a starting price of $129.99. The SSD works with Windows, Mac OS and Android devices to access content on smartphones, tablets, notebooks, PCs or compatible smart TVs via a USB port.

Source: Samsung Samsung says the SSD is designed for consumers, content creators, business and IT professionals looking to store up to 2TB of data with faster data transfers than traditional hard disk drives.
