This year at CES, Samsung was awarded 38 Innovation Awards, one of which was for the Galaxy View a portable, touch screen entertainment device.
While the View is larger than an ordinary tablet, it weighs six pounds and comes equipped with ordinary tablet functionality like two stereo speakers a camera and microphone Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Users can switch between live TV, streaming video and using apps just by tapping the touch screen.
The Galaxy View is available for purchase on Samsung’s website for $549.99.
