While at CES, attendees were able to witness Somabar, the world’s first app-controlled robotic bartending appliance created for the home kitchen. Somabar allows cocktail-lovers to mix drinks and infuse bitters to make cocktail in seconds – all from the accompanying smartphone app. Users can scroll through the apps menu to select a drink and customize the ingredients and alcohol content. The device, comparable to a Keurig for alcoholic beverages, is available for pre-order for $429.
