Creative imaging technology company, DJI, demonstrated the Osmo integrated camera and handheld stabilizer at CES 2016.
The camera uses three-axis gimbal stabilization technology to eliminate the shake of traditional handheld devices.
Osmo is a modular product so it is fully compatible with DJI's Zenmuse camera series, but also comes standard with a 4K, 12-megapixel camera with a 1/2.3" sensor and a 94 degree field-of-view lens.
The camera comes with built-in controls to change shot angles, capture photos or record videos directly from the handle.
Users can view live images of what the camera captures and then adjust camera settings and control filming functions like panorama, long exposure, and slow motion.
Osmo comes with an onboard universal mount that works with an included smartphone holder, as well as other optional accessories like a tripod, a bike mount or an extension arm.
