i-BLADES, the developer of the first smartphone case with hidden embedded micro processing technology, teamed up with Bosch Sensortec, to create the i-BLADES Smartcase Platform which will integrate Bosch Sensortec’s BME680 integrated environmental sensor.
The Bosch BME680 gives consumers instant and high precision feedback on ambient temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and indoor air quality. By incorporating the sensor into the smartcase, users will be able to manage wellness, vitality and comfort directly from their smartphone screen (and, as an added bonus, with minimal battery power consumption).
When a smartphone is inserted into the i-BLADES Smartcase, the Smartcase becomes a dynamic platform enabling new functionality, such as sensors, battery packs, memory, security features and more, to be added to the smartphone.
