With the latest industry information indicating that BOE is planning two more Gen 8.5 fabs in China, China will have more than 10 by 2018. Already, five Gen 8 fabs are operating at full capacity, and three more are ramping up. By Q3’16, China will have the largest Gen 8 capacity, with a 41% share, surpassing the 40% share in Korea.
