Large-area Panel Shipments Up 14% in March

Combined shipments of large-area and small/medium TFT LCD panels reached 245 million in March, up 24% compared with February and up 17% compared to March 2014. Large-area shipments were 60 million, up 14% from February and up 1% from March 2014. Shipments of small/medium panels reached 185 million in March, up 27% from February and up 23 percent compared with March of last year, which was a good recovery from 145 million in February, the lowest level of shipments over the past 12 months.
