Microcontrollers, flash devices and PLD/FPGA need to be programmed quickly and flexibly. To meet the most diverse requirements, GÖPEL Electronic now offers its Universal Programmer FlashFOX in a new version with two asynchronous parallel channels and four independently integrated power supplies for the targets to be programmed. The new model complements the existing four- and eight-channel versions, which are designed for complex inline programming requirements in production environments. The new two-channel model now also provides a stand-alone universal programmer for small series, manual production stations or development applications.
Like the FlashFOX family to date, the FlashFOX 2-channel version can be operated in stand-alone mode or via streaming. The streaming mode facilitates flexible adaptation or modification of the programming data through dynamic transmission: the universal programmer always retrieves the content to be programmed from the central server. This simplifies fast flash programming and enables central administration and second-accurate adjustment of images in the production environment. Thanks to the integrated SVF and JAM/STAPL (JESD71) player, standardized test and programming operations can be performed independently on both channels.

With four integrated independent power supplies, the FlashFOX 2 can also implement complex power supplies for the microcontrollers or flash modules to be programmed. A wide range of monitoring functions and sense lines that can be used per channel enable a secure and stable power supply at the point of load (PoL), even at greater distances from the target. Thanks to its WLAN connectivity, the programmer can also be easily integrated into the internet of things (IoT) world and the support of 4.0 implementations. An integrated web server allows the FlashFOX to be easily and securely configured, controlled and verified via any web browser. This enables remote maintenance of the programmer even at remote production sites.
The Universal Programmer FlashFOX will be presented for the first time in its new two-channel version at the Productronica trade fair in Munich, Germany, in November 2025 and will then be available from GÖPEL Electronic or its worldwide sales contacts.
