According to the company, the OL-450S handles the transport of load carriers with a payload capacity of up to 450 kg and a lifting range from 108 mm to 308 mm. Its integrated lifting plate reportedly reduces customization investments and time-consuming engineering, thus allowing businesses to improve operational efficiency without infrastructure changes.

Further, the developers explained that the robot is equipped with 360° safety coverage and omni-directional drive, enabling the OL-450S to easily navigate complex layouts, avoiding obstacles and ensuring safe operation around personnel. Additionally, strategically positioned sensors enhance localization.

The OL-450S is managed by OMRON's FLOW Core software, which is a centralized platform capable of managing fleets of up to 100 mobile robots with varying payload capacities. This ensures seamless integration into existing infrastructure, enabling streamlined operations and optimal fleet performance.

"The OL-450S represents a significant advancement in autonomous material handling. Its low-profile design, combined with its powerful navigation and fleet management capabilities, makes it an ideal solution for businesses looking to automate their material transport processes and improve safety and productivity," the company explained.
