Anderson Power debuts new high-current connector

Anderson Power has introduced the latest addition to its battery connector lineup: the Industrial Battery Connector (IBC).

The IBC series will debut later in 2025 and sets a new standard in high-current battery connectors withSource: Anderson PowerSource: Anderson Power exclusive, industry-first features, including:

  • Base connector with modular components that enable custom configurations
  • Configurable signal options on each platform with color coded contact carriers
    • 320 A: 4 Aux. | 2 Aux. with 2 air tubes | 10 Aux.
    • 160 A: 4 Aux. | 2 Aux. with 2 air tubes | 6 Aux.
    • 80 A: 4 Aux.
  • Supports wire to wire and wire to panel mount receptacle with busbar contact option
  • Integrated strain relief for both power and signal wires
  • Acid-resistant performance per EN1175
  • Multiple accessory options:
    • Temperature sensing kit
    • Latching handle kit
    • Standard handle kit
    • IP68 sealing kit

The IBC series is available in three platforms: 80 Amp, 160 Amp, and 320 Amp. The 320 and 160 platforms offer industry-leading power and signal options. These connectors also meet EN1175, RoHS, and DIN VDE 0623-589 standards. Designed for the power demands of the future, this forward-thinking connector solution is perfect for material handling applications like forklift charging, reach stacker charging and more.
