BeagleBoard.org has unveiled its latest iteration of its single board computer (SBC) portfolio in the BeagleV-Fire, an open-source SBC designed to bring RISC-V architectures to a broader audience.
Newark, a division of Avnet Inc., is now carrying the BeagleV-Fire as part of its SBC collection for makers, engineers and professionals.
Powered by Microchip Technology’s PolarFire FCG484E 5x core RISC-V system-on-chip with field programmable gate array (FPGA) fabric, the SBC is targeted for a range of applications for internet of things (IoT) devices, robotics, artificial intelligence and embedded systems.
