Fairview Microwave introduces RFID antennas for asset tracking, inventory

10 September 2023

Texas-based Fairview Microwave Inc. has introduced radio frequency identification (RFID) antennas to enhance the performance of RFID applications in inventory management, asset tracking, and ID verification.

The antennas operate from 900 MHz to 2,400 MHz to ensure efficient and uninterrupted RFID tag reading. These antennas, which feature SMA female, N female, and RP TNC male connectors, are compatible with most RFID readers.

Additionally, the antennas feature right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) to ensure signal reception and data extraction. This feature, coupled with high-gain performance, low voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) and wide beamwidth, reportedly optimizes reading range and enhances the overall performance of RFID systems.
