Micron Technology Inc. has launched two performance solid state drives (SSD) designed for content creators such as photographers, videographers or designers.
Called Crucial X9 Pro Portable and X10 Pro Portable, the SSDs use Micron’s TLC NAND flash memory with a single application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) in a compact form factor. The SSD can be used to store, transport and backup videos, photos, files and more while being portable without cloud or internet access.
The X10 Pro Portable SSD features:
- Read speeds up to 2,100 MB/s
- Write speeds of 2,000 MB/s
- Transfer 1 TB of data in 9 minutes
- Connects to directly to laptop/desktop
- Water and dust resistant
- Windows, Mac, Android compatible
The X9 Pro Portable SSD features:
- Write speeds up to 1,050 MG/S
- Sizes up to 4 TB
- Plug and play ready
- Windows, Mac, Android compatible
Both SSDs are available in capacities of 4 TB, 2 TB and 1 TB.
