Synopsys Inc. said it will showcase its fast application security testing (fAST) offerings inside its Polar Software Integrity platform at the upcoming RSA Conference 2023.
The fAST Static and Synopsys fAST SCA enable engineers to find and fix vulnerability in proprietary code and open-source dependencies in an integrated software-as-a-service platform.
Additionally, Polaris allows engineers to onboard and start scanning code in minutes while enabling security teams to track testing activities and manage risk across thousands of applications, Synopsys said.
According to Gartner, 80% of security and risk management developers are looking to consolidate security spending with fewer vendors.
Because of this, the Synopsys software enhancements enable engineers to:
- Perform static application security testing (SAST) and software composition analysis (SCA) through a single platform.
- Build security into DevOps through simplified integrations and automation.
- Manage application security risk at enterprise scale.
The RSA Conference 2023 takes place in San Francisco on April 24-27.
