European appliance vendor Goboo has introduced its first cleaning robot that can sweep, mop and hot air-dry floors using laser navigation.

Called Dreame Bot W10, the all-in-one robot vacuum uses 4000 Pa of suction power and automatic backwashing of the mop to get rid of the dust in home areas. The appliance includes a 180 times/minute double-disc rotating booster wipe and ultrasonic carpet identification. When the cleaning is done, 40° Celsius of hot air blows on the cleaned surface.

The robot can be managed through the Mi Home app via a user’s smartphone. The app can connect with the W10 automatically and through it can schedule times for the robot to run either day or night.

Goboo said the cleaning robot is the first of a new brand platform that will focus on the smart home appliance industry, so it is likely future products will be centered in this market as well.

The robot vacuum will be available in March, priced at about $1,000.
