With a maximum payload weight of 5 lbs, the F700 leverages an open architecture design to use tools such as radar and net guns to locate, capture and tow to the ground noncompliant drones. It can tow drones weighing up to 13 lbs, and can also deploy a parachute to bring itself and an enemy drone to predetermined safe landing zones on the ground.
The drone hunter features a flexible undercarriage that offers interchangeable counter measures for single, multiple or swarm-based threats and a lightweight carbon fiber frame. The Pogo pins and payload snaps in the undercarriage are integrated with artificial intelligence-enabled firing and flight software.
The F700 complements the Fortem SkyDome and TrueView technologies, which offer a scalable, radar-based way to monitor airspace around a facility in 3D. Communicating with the ground-based radar system, the F700 can provide coordinates of an enemy drone to ground-based defensive weapons, such as directed energy systems or radio frequency jammers.
